Rebecca was born and raised in Centreville, Virginia before moving to Canton, Georgia at the beginning of high school. She then attended Mercer University where she graduated magna cum laude, majoring in History and Spanish with a minor in Political Science. Rebecca also graduated as a member of Phi Beta Kappa. Following Rebecca’s graduation in 2016, she taught English in Lamphun, Thailand for a year before attending law school at Georgia State University. Rebecca graduated cum laude with the highest distinction for pro bono hours. Rebecca also served as an Associate Research Editor and as Social Chair for the Georgia State Law Review. During law school, Rebecca discovered her passion for criminal defense while interning for the Colorado Public Defender and City of Atlanta, Office of the Public Defender.
Outside of work, Rebecca enjoys golfing, photography, and brunch.
